Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

What Photography Services do you offer?

I currently offer Lifestyle Family, Maternity, Newborn, and Couples (Engagement or Intimate Weddings) Sessions and have various packages available.

What is a lifestyle newborn session?

I use a natural, relaxed approach when photographing so my newborn sessions are filled with parents cuddling and embracing their newborn, or the baby is placed comfortably on the bed or a mat while loosely swaddled. We can do it either indoor at the comfort of your own home, or outdoor, in a quiet spot in the park or beach.

When is the best time to photograph newborns?

I recommend the first 2 to 3 weeks of life when they are really sleepy. Babies tend to become much more alert and more prone to hormone/dry skin past these weeks. But I understand life can get busy so I am happy to accommodate whenever you'd like to have your babies photographed.

When is the best time to book a maternity session?

I recommend around 32 to 36 weeks, where your bump will be well-rounded at this stage. It also gives enough time before your due date in case baby decides to come out early.

Can I bring my husband and family to my maternity photoshoot?

Of course you can, bring the entire family if you want - I have various packages available to cater for what you envision for your maternity photoshoot.

When is the best time to do an outdoor photoshoot?

Golden hour is my favourite, which is about an hour before sunset. But I understand that for families with little ones, mornings may be a more ideal time so for morning sessions, I recommend as early as possible to about mid-morning.

Do you offer guidance on photoshoot outfits and outfit colours?

Yes! I absolutely love discussing outfit details with my clients. It gets us both excited about the upcoming session!

Do you charge a separate travel fee?

Yes, depending on the package chosen. Some packages already include the travel fee. Please contact me if you have a particular location in mind so I can guide you on the best package for you.

Is a deposit required to secure our booking?

Yes, a deposit is required to secure the session date. Once you have a date in mind, I will send a Session Agreement with the Photography Service Terms and Conditions, the deposit and payment details, and due dates for these payments.
